  • Arts and crafts for the Tourism industry which includes sewing, knitting, and crocheting
  • Basic computer literacy for learners as well as adults (employed and unemployed). In addition, this course provides tutoring on basic business knowledge, communication and etiquette as well as life coaching. Students receive guidance on compiling a CV and how to market their skills.
  • Introduction to electronics and industrial control systems
  • Beauty and Nail Technician skills
  • Woodworking crafts (laser-cutting, etc)
  • Basic training for the construction industry which includes; Bricklaying and building, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry and cabinet making anc Introduction to Welding)
  • Learner coaching and support which includes; Reading skills, Mathematics skills (all levels), Assisting learners with learning barriers (disabilities), Providing career coaching (applications for tertiary education) and post-school, education advising
  • Seeking scholarships and bursaries for high potential candidates and learners from the local community.
  • Identifying candidates for placement in apprenticeship programs
  • Possible job shadowing and job creation opportunities within local business and industry players.
  • Promotion of community-based projects relating to self-help (entrepreneurs), empowerment and capacity building as required by local industry and business partners.
